Information for Teachers & Group Leaders
We offer a comprehensive service across East Anglia for teachers running school and college ski or snowboard trips. We are also now able to extend this service to groups and tailor a service that suits your particular needs.
We are very conscious that this is a costly holiday and as such we advise parents to only purchase those items which they really need. Hiring skiwear is particularly beneficial for growing students and for those who do not have the opportunity to ski every year. Our hire range includes hire jackets, salopettes/ski/board trousers, après ski boots, goggles, ankle protectors, snowboard wrist guards and waist bags. We also sell all the essential accessories that a beginner would need at an affordable price.
This year we have replaced the remainder of our older hire wear ranges and therefore your students will be wearing a brand new jacket or last seasons jacket even if they choose to hire!
We would be very happy to visit your school ski trip parents evening and:
- Give a presentation to parents and pupils on what is needed in terms of equipment and clothing to enable the student to remain safe during the activity.
- Give helpful advice to students and parents on what beginners need to take on their first trip
- Bring a sample of hire clothing and accessories to your parents evening
- Bring a selection of affordable essential accessories for parents to purchase on the evening.
Your students are free to choose from either our hire or purchase ranges and we find many choose to hire the larger and more expensive items whilst purchasing the smaller accessories. Parents can deal with us directly either at the information evening, by visiting or contacting us or by using our online service.
We aim to remove the majority of the administration from you and deal with parents directly with regard to their orders and payments.
All hired clothing is delivered directly to the school in individually named bags on or before the Tuesday before you depart on your trip. We appreciate that it has sometimes been many weeks since hire wear was tried on and we try where possible to refit and change items immediately if any problems arise. Pupils do not need to wash the clothing they just return it in a named bag to you and all that we ask is that you collect it by the end of the week of your return in readiness for us to collect it from the school There is no extra charge for delivery and collection.
We offer substantial discounts off our usual prices for schools and groups and will provide discount vouchers to parents/pupils at your parents evening.
